Ten common ways to welding

Ten common ways to welding

  1. Electrode arc welding
Electrode arc welding is the use of stable burning arc established between the electrode and the workpiece, so that the electrode and the workpiece can be melted, so as to obtain a solid welding joint process method. During the welding process, the coating constantly decomposes and melts to generate gas and slag, which protects the end of the electrode, the arc,the molten pool and ots vicinity, and prevents the harmful pollution of the atmosphere to the molten metal. The core of the electrode is also constantly melting under the action of arc heat, entering the weld pool, forming the filler metal of the weld.
  1. Submerged arc welding
Submerged arc welding (including submerged arc surfacing and electroslag surfacing) is a welding method in which the arc is burned under the flux layer. Its inhrent advantages of stable welding quality, high welding productivity,no arc lighy and little smoke make it become the main welding method int the production of important steel structures such as pressure vessels, pipe section manufacturing, box beam and column.
  1. Argon arc welding
Argon arc welding is a welding technique that uses argon as a shielding gas. Also known as argon shielding welding. It is to pass argon shielding as around the arc welding to isolate the air outside the welding area and prevent oxidation of the welding area. Argon arc welding technoligy is based on the principle of ordinary arc welding, the use of argon to protect the metal welding material, through high current to melt the welding material on the substrate to be welded into a liquid pool, so that the welding metal and the welding material to achieve metallurgical combination of a welding technology, because in the high temperature melting welding constantly send argon, so that the welding material can not contact with oxyggen in the air. Thus preventing the oxidation of the welding material, so you can weld stainless steel or iron .
  1. Gas welding
Gas welding is a welding method that uses the flame generated by the mixed combustion of combustible gas and combustive gas as a heat source to melt the welding parts and welding materials to achieve interatomic bounding .The combustion gas is maily oxygen, and the combustible as is mainly acetylene, liquefied petroleum fas and so on.
  1. Laser welding
Laser welding is amethod of welding with the heat generated by bombarding the weldment with a focused laser beam as an energy source. Due to the optical properties of laser refraction ,focusing and so on,laser welding is very suitable for the welding of micro parts and parts with poor acessibility.Laser welding also has the characteristics of low heat input, small welding deformation and not affected by electromagnetic fields.
  1. Two protection welding
The two protection welding process is suitable for low carbon steel and low alloy high strength steel all kinds of large steel structure engineering welding, its welding productivity is high, good crack resistance ,small welding deformation, large deformation range, can be used for thin and medium thick plate welding.
  1. Friction welding
Friction welding refers to the method of using the heat generated by the friction of the workpiece contact surface as the heat source, so that the workpiece produces plastic deforation under the action of pressure.
  1. Ultrasonic welding
Ultrasonic welding is the use of high-frequency vibration waves th transfer to the surface of two objects to be welded, in the case of pressure,so that the surface of the two objects friction with each other to form a fusion between molecular layers.
  1.  Soft Brazing
Soft Brazing is a kind of connection method that uses abrazingmetal with amelting point not exceeding 450° and is connected by heating to abrazing temperature lower than the melting point of the base metal, but higher than the melting point of thebrazing metal. The solder is spread in the tight fitted joint surface by capillary action, or on the workpiece surface by wetting action.
  1. Hard Brazing
Hard Brazing is a high temperature brazing process. Most brazing processes are at 1200 to 1400F°,Like soft brazing , hard brazing relies on capillary action to fill the joints with filler metal. There are many different kinds of brazing alloys that can be used to weld almost any kind of metal or metal alloy.
